PreQuilt Partnership

Image
At QuiltCon this year I was introduced to Laura through a mutual friend.  She was super sweet and she invited me to share some of my designs/patterns through her company PreQuilt!  I have three patterns that launched on their site this week and am very excited about this opportunity and to share what a great service PreQuilt offers to quilters.
PreQuilt is a great resource for quilters looking to customize a pattern to their own color palette.  When you sign up with PreQuilt you get to experiment with different color options for a pattern and then purchase a digital version of that pattern all on their site.

Currently I am offering my designs Jawbreakers, Positive Illuminations and Sparrows at Play on the PreQuilt platform.

I hope you will check out the PreQuilt site have some fun playing with color and customizing so many great patterns on their site.  I think PreQuilt is a great tool for quilters and a great way to explore your own creativity so I hope you check their site out!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Image
I've been wrapped up in some serious quilting deadlines of late but I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and share some exciting news!

I was recently asked by Karlee Porter to contribute designs to her new company, Honest Fabric!!  I was so honored to be asked especially since I'd been mulling over submitting designs the second I heard about Karlee's new whole cloth printed quilt top concept.  I have several designs currently available for purchase and am so excited to share them with you all:

Both Trellis and Fringe Area are available in four different colorways and all Honest Fabric designs are available in three sizes.  Karlee's is offering 10% off your order at Honest Fabric with code 10HQF18.  I've ordered my Trellis design in the orange colorway (50" x 60") and can't wait to get quilting.  I'm especially looking forward to quilting with no bulky seams to worry about.

In addition to Trellis and Fringe Area I also have Grid Work and…

Simply Moderne No. 15

While at QuiltCon this year I met with Quiltmania's Director of Publication, Carol, and we discussed having a quilt or two published in Simply Moderne quilt magazine.  I was overjoyed to have this opportunity to have my Mountain Scene quilt published in the Winter issue and earlier this week I found out Mountain Scene is also on the cover!!

The Winter issue of Simply Moderne will first be available at Houston Quilt Festival and later on the Quiltmania website.  If you are going to be attending Quilt Market and the Show please stop by the Quiltmania booth and pick up the Winter issue and maybe get a look at my quilt!

Mountain Scene is a great geometric design and very versatile.  Heather Givens has a quilt kit available in her shop, Crimson Tate, featuring her own Night Hike fabric collection.

The pattern isn't included in the fabric kit so picking up an issue of Simply Moderne is a great way to purchase a pattern with all the extra quilty goodness in the magazine
