Summer Sampler 2019

I have an exciting announcement...  I have been invited to design a block for this year's Summer Sampler hosted by Katie Blakesley, Faith Jones, and Lee Heinrich.

The weekly quilt along begins May 20th but you can purchase a Summer Sampler subscription for $29.00 now!  If you enter the code QUILTACHUSETTS at check out you'll save $5 off the purchase price!!  You can purchase the pattern here.

Along with the weekly blocks you'll also have the option of two layouts, squares or circles.  Can you find my block among all those great designs?  There are several curve designs so I'll keep you guessing for a while.

You can use this year's color palette, curate your own or use the one I came up with, it definitely has more of a retro feel:

It's a huge honor to be included in a group of all these talented quilter and to have a block next to theirs.  Make sure you check out all these wonderful designers and their work on their websites and on Instagram.

  1. Congratulations for being invited to design a block, Heather! You have such a gift for that. Personally, I'm "BOMed" and "samplered" out. Have done SO many of these over the years, and don't know what to do with those quilts. So, I'll sit this one out. It's certainly a great project for someone new to quilting, though. I hope everyone enjoys the project.

    1. Thanks, it's definitely been an honor to be asked. I know a few of the ladies in my guild have signed up so it should be fun to see them complete a quilt.
